My apologies that the blog has been a bit quiet lately, we've been working flat out here at Jeremy HQ, which is why there's not been a great deal said here. However, My Mutterings will be going Daily from 1st December, which hopefully will prove worth the wait...
Thanks for your patience.

For those who can remember as far back as 2000, you may recall a series I presented for BBC One, entitled 'Toughest Jobs in Britain'. The series was made up of a host of jobs from Sewer Flusher to Army Pioneer. One film involved hill farming in Wales with a shepherd (ironically residing in Bethlehem), Nick Somerfield. He and his wife Kyra showed yours truly just how tough raising lambs can be, especially when they presented me with £3.64 for 3 days hard work!! Since filming I have kept in touch with the remarkable pair and was therefore deeply saddened to learn of Nick's passing on Tuesday, in West Wales Hospital's Critical Care Unit following an illness.
Nick was an inspiration to so many, to include me, and I trust that he will Rest In Peace amongst the flocks.

Now that I've finally managed to make it back to the office, I thought I'd share a few images from the events that took place here in Moscow on Saturday 9th May, to mark 70 years since the cessation of hostilities in Europe.
My sincere thanks goes to the 500,000 people who, like me, marched in honour of the fallen as part of the Immortal Regiment. We were joined by Russian President Vladimir Putin, who himself carried a placard of his Father.
Putting to one side the unfortunate politics that surrounded this remarkable event, it was important for those assembled to pay homage to their relatives who sacrificed so much. Of particular note was the number of young people taking part and I for one was proud to be a part of such an emotional outpouring.
